I prefer to work with multiple photos, where image quality is not important. On the contrary, it feels a shame to alter a professionally taken photograph. I find it far more challenging—and rewarding—to create a new artwork from images of poor quality.
Image editing consists of retouching and restoring damaged images. This includes removing scratches and stains, improving color and sharpness, adding or removing objects or people, and replacing or adjusting backgrounds.
